A Glasgow syndicate has purchased the patents of the Werry Engine Company, Melbourne, and is floating a company with a capital of £150,000. Already the syndicate has commenced building steamers. The patent rights of the Werry reciprocatidg engine have been on the market for some time. The patent, it is claimed, will greatly reduce waste of power.
