Reeves, High Commissioner for New Zealand, paid a high tribute to the memory of the late AgentGeneral of Tasmania, whose tragic death was reported yesterday. The Earl of Crewe, Secretary of Staie for the Colonies, has telegraphed to Tasmania an expression of his deep sympathy. He held the late Mr. Dobson, he said, in the highest esteem, and regarded him as an altogether charming representative of the colony. His Lordship sent a personal letter couched ih similar terms to the widow.
