Considerable interest is Leing takea in the visit of the King's Trumpeter, Mr. Short, to Wellington. Mr. Shorfi will give two trumpet recitals in Wellington in the Town Hall on 2nd and 7th December. Included in the solos to be played on Wednesday evening nextare the "Children's Home" and the "Coronation Scene." The vocalists who will contribuate to the programme are Mrs. Orr-Loring (soprano), of Dunedin;, and Mr. E. J. Parkes, of Wellington.' » The accompaniments to the trumpet solos will be played by Mr. D. J. Kenny on the Town Hall organ, and by the Wellington Professional Orchestra. The concert Kvill be under the patronage of Sir Joseph Ward and the Mayor (the Hon. T. W. Hislop).- The box plan" will be open, ed at the Dresden to-morrow morning..
