The New York correspondent of the London Daily Maal reports that Montefiore Myers, a fashionably dressed Jew from Australia, giving a London address as his place of residence, was arrested at PittsJrarg on a charge of grand larceny. Pretending that he represented Rothschilds, and intended to invest 40 millions of money, he was introduced into 1 the best circles. He is charged with stealing lumber bonds, and) afeo with having failed to pay the deposit on an oil option, j Myers describes the charges as based /on perjury.
