HUTT LEAGUE RESOLUTIONS. The following resolutions were carried at last evening's meeting of the executive of the Hutt Valley No-license League :—: — "(1) That this executive laments that the Electoral Department or the returning officer should have opposed the entry of the scrutineers appointed by the Hutt No-license League at the official recount, especially as we know of no other electorate wherein such objection has been made, and that he should only have been admitted as poll clerk." "(2) That this executive denies any knowledge oi any organised boycott by the No-license party." "(3) That this executive desires to place on record its very thorough appr^ ciation of the splendid work of our hou. secretary, Mr. Townsend, throughout the whole campaign, and expresses the belief that it possesses a secretary second to none in the Dominion for devotion, capability, and earnest work."
