MUNICIPAL CONCERTS. THE BRASS BAND SERIES.
A year's programme of free and public brass band concerts, arranged and subsidised by the Wellington City Council on behalf of the cit:zens, has been issued by the Town Clerk. For the next five weeks the fixtures are as follows :—: — Sunday, 29th November.—Jupp's Band, at Botanical Gardens. Sunday, 6th December. —Newtown Band, at Newtown Park. Thursday, 10th December. —Mission Band, at Basin Reserve. Sunday, 13th December. —Tramways Band, at Island Bay. Sunday, 20th December. —Garrison Band, at Botanical Gardens. Sunday, 27th December. —Jupp's Band, at "Newtown Park.
