Amongst bills authorised for payment by the City Council last night was one for £576 10s 6d due to Millars' West Australian Hardware Company, for jarrah, and one tor £194 10s 5d due en account of metal to the Manawatu Railway Company. A payment of £380 16s was made to the contractors for repairs to Te Aro Baths. Wages for the two weeks ended 3rd November aggregated £2682 I9s lOd.
