For Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji, to connect with Tofna at Auckland, per Manawatu train, 6.30 a.m. For Southern Offices of New Zealand, per Maori, 7.30 a.m. For Napier, Oisborne, and Auckland, per Tarawera, 7.30 a.m. For Picton, Westport, Greymouth, and Hakitika, per Kotukn, 7.30 a.m. For Picton, Blenheim, French Pass, Waikawa Bay, and NeUon, per Pateena, 7.30 a.m. For Motueka, per Manaroa, 7.30 a.m. The next " best despatch for Canada and United States of America will be per Indravelli, closing at Wellington on Saturday, 7th inst., at 10 a.m. On Saturday, the 7th November, the lettercarriers will make a full afternoon delivery, closing at 1.45 p.m. Monday, 9th November (King's Birthday) will be observed as a close holiday by the Postal Department in all its branches. Country mails will close at the usual time by the early morning trains only. Mails by steamers sailing- during the day will close at 7.30 a.m. AH books and sample packets and newspapers for places within the Dominion must be posted half an hour before the ordinary letter mail closes.
