Gold Crest beat Gipsy Belle over half a mile in 48 3-ssec, Penates taking 49 2-ssec, and Mahuta 52sec, Bobrikoff 49sec, and Downfall 50 2-ssec. Apa alont, covered' the mile in lmin 44 l-ssec. Heorthen did six furlongs, last four in 50 2-ssec. Pull Rate, fully extended, did five furlongs, the last four in 50 3-ssec. Others were restricted to lighter tasks.
