Prim did the same distance in 1.284-5. Master Soult beat Dawn over six furlongs, the last five occupying 1.3. Moloch, Uhlando, and Signor covered a mile and a quarter in 2.15, finishing in the order named. Signor was in trouble half a mile from home. Penates and Mon Amie went six furlongs in 1.16£, Penates having the best of the deal. Gipsy Belle easily accounted for Gold Crest over six furlong 3. clone in 1.16. Probable and . Lapland went a mile and a half, Probable, with a light weight up, finishing twenty"lengfchs ahead. The last ten furlcags occupied 2.17 5-5. Lupulite beat Sea King by eight lengths over ' four furlongs in 48£ sec, and from a , racing start Master Delaval, Zimmer> man, and" Grand Slam did a mile and r. ha-lf at a solid pace in 2.39 d-5. Master Delaval finished strongly. Zimmerman also put up a pleasing performance. Downfall, Heorthen, Apa, and St. Joe went a mile and a half, Heorthen finishing a length ahead of Downfall, with Apa several lengths away, the time being 2.391-5. Heorthen's performance gained the nag many supporters. All Red, Mahuta, and White Lie went a mile and a half in 2.38. Bobrikoff beat Count Witte over five furlongs in 1.2, Armamento beat Saga easily over a mile and a quarter, Moriarity did five furlongs in 1.21-5, and Frisco a mile and a half in 2.43.
