DEATH OF AN OLD SETTLER. [By Telegbapi^. — Special to The Post.] FEILDING, This Day. Feilding's vital statistics for June are : — Births 18, deaths five, marriages two. Death has taken away one of the first settlers in the. Manchester Block — Mr. Henry Adsett, of Colyton, aged 67 years. Ho set up a sawmill 35 years ago in a spot that is now the centre of the town of Feilding, and cut out tho timber there. Then ho took his plant into- the dense bush at Colyton. {Mr. Adsett was a good settler, and was greatly respected by his neighbours. Mrs. Adsett and nine grown-up sons and daughters survive him.
