She boro down und found that the Union S.S. Co.'s steamer Karori, 1687 tons, had broken her thrust shaft. Tho Perth stood by til' Saturday night and transhipped the mails. The Karori's engineers then effected repairs, and tho steamer is proceeding to Sydney under ensy steam. EXPECTED TO REACH SYDNEY ON* THURSDAY. (Received April 14, 920 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Tho Karori is expected to reach Sydney on Thursday.
