This Day. , Coleman, who shot Constable Ring, was arrested near Morpothville. He made no resistance. The man has a small wound on tho arm. He stated that he cut himself with glass, hoping to bleed to death. Coleman, a fisherman residing at Glenelg, was, on the 28th of last month, arrested by Constable Ring on a charge of drunkenness and being disorderly, and was fined fivo shillings. Ho evidently regarded hie arrest as a grievous insult, and intimutcd his intention of doing for Ring. He met the constable, at midnight, and fired pqinl-blank with a gun at Ring's breust, killing him in-, stantly. He then got away.
