UNIVERSITY DEGREES. THE NOVEMBER EXAMINATION.
UNOFFICIAL RESULTS. Yesterday cable advice was received by the university authorities giving the results of the November examination for New Zealand University degrees. As the authorities, however, have made ;v practice of declining to give to the press cabled information, the results stated below are unofficial and probably incomplete. Ziman, of Auckland, who was recently chosen as Rhodes Scholar, secured his M.Sc. degree with first-class honours in Mathematics and Mathematical Physics, and third-class honours . in Physics. D. E. Housen (Auckland) and A. M. Finlayson (Dunedin) are reported to have been placed equal^ for tho 1851 Science Exhibition. Aldridge, an Auckland student, gained jo less than three senior scholarships. This is a phenomenal performance.
