AUTOMOBILE ASSOCIATION.
A meeting of members of the Automobile Associaition of New Zealand was held this morning, the Mayor of Wellington (Hon. T. W. Hislop) presiding. The draft rules were approved, with some necessary alterations. It was decided to hold the next meeting at Christchurch in November next, on a date to be fixed by tho council. The following officers were elected : — Chairman, Hon. T. W. Hislop ; Secretary and Treasurer, Mr. H. F. Allen ; Council, Dr. Knight, A. de B. Brandon and C M Banks (Wellington); S. Luxford (Palmerston North) ; Col. Gorton (Feilding); E. Nordon and R. N. M'Donald (Christchurch).
