THE WATER SUPPLY.
Two inches further drop in the level of tho water at Wainuiomata reservoir has been recorded since yestercky, and the surface of the water is now thirtyone inches below the outflow point. It will thus be seen that when another five inch fall is chronicled the supply of water for all but household purposes, steam boilers, and a very few other purposes will be prohibited. Meanwhile the weather conditions give no proraiso of rain.
