BILLIARDS.

There whs a numerous attendance at the old Wellesley Club rooms yesterday aitcrnoon, 'when the billiard match, 9000 up, on tho arc-oval table, was commenced between Messrs. Bragge and Smith. Both players were in good form, and at the end of the afternoon's play the scores were : Bragge (in pl ay ) 750, bmith 714. At the evening session bmith pulled up considerably, the scores at the conclusion of the daj&s play being —Smith (in play) 1501, Bragge 1422. The biggest break of the day was made by Smith, who put on 131, Bragge being close up with 127. The game is being continued this, afternoon and evening.
