FEILDING CARNIVAL. A GREAT SUCCESS.
THE SECOND DAY. (By Telegraph) (From Our Special Reporter.) FEILDING, sth February. Feilding's festival for farmers was brought, to a most successful termination at 5 o'clock this afternoon, and it proved to b? tho very best show season the A. and P. Association has yet enjoyed. Tho weather was beautiful throughout the two days, and it is estimated that the attendance to-day ran from eight to ten thousand This is a wonderfully good achievement tor a four-ypar-old society, aud pioves that the district can heartily and liberally support % a show. The great crowd that gathered on tho show, ground was one of tho finest demonstrations that could be given of the development of this district, and of the population of settlers that must be in the surrounding country, of which Feilding is literally the hub. The general verdict of v a'll visitors was that the show was highly interesting, and those even from the uttermost parts of the back-country were glad they had taken the opportunity of coming to the show.
