AMATEUR ATHLETICS.

«. KERR TO BE SENT TO HOBART. The outcome of the dissatisfaction (referred to in another part of this issue) at the exclusion of H. E. Kerr, the champion walker, from tho team to represent New Zealand at the Australasian amatour championship meeting at Hobart, is that subscription lists were opened this morning for defraying Iverr's expenses, and in two hours the collectors had the required amount in hand. At to-night's meeting of the Wellington centre an endeavour will be made to arrange for Kerr's inclusion in the team.
