The Exchange is at present dominated by the sellers. To-day's list reveals a score of soiling commissions against half that numbei of "buying." Quotations, however, maintain a high level, and nothing has got to bargain prices Probably a little weakness on the part of holders would bp not unwelcome to brokers, as it would lead to a bigger number of transactions. The call to-day resulted in business of minute proportions. Westport Stockton Coal were accepted at 10s, and a parcel of Waihi scrip changed lumds at £8 6s. Talisman, if anything, tend to firmer rates— buyers £2 12s and sellors sixpence more. * Bank of New Zealand were offered at £9 15s, and Nationals at £5 7s, but no buyers declared in either instance. Kauri Timber, which havo been somewhat extensively dealt in in the Melbourne and Sydney Exchanges lately, were enquired for at 9s 2d, but holders named 9s 6d. Meats were all on tho selling tack — Christahurch £10 15s, Gear £2 10s, and both descriptions of Wellington at £5 2s and £3 6s 9d.
