LEVIN, This Day. The sequel to die stone-throwing case at Ohau on the 26th December <vas seen to-day when Mr. A. D. Thomson, S.M., convicted Alfred Barnes and fined his stepfather, P. P. Drake, 10s and costs* for damaging the property of the WellingtonMa nawatu Railway Company, a total of £1 17s 6d. - George Wood was .also charged by Jessie Steward Wood for disobeying an ordor of the court of 28th February 1907 io pay arrears of maintenance amounting co £14 ss. and he was sentenced to one month's imprisonment in Gisborne gaol.
