BELFAST STRIKERS.
TRANSFER. OF TROOPS. By Telfgraph.— rrres Association. — Copyright. LONDON, 31st July. The first battalion of the Berkshire Regiment, with Maxim guns, have been transferred to Belfast from Ballyshannon.
Five hundred dockers and one thousand carters arc out for higher wages, while the police aro in a state of discontent, as they are of opinion that their remuneration is too meagre, and the pension system not what it should bo.
