ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
[BY TILEGBAP.I. — FBKSS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, This Day. An inquest on the body of Jamas Arthur, who died at North-east Vallry, as the result of an accident sustained on the railway duplication works on 6th March was held yesterday. The medical evidence showed that death t;is due to paralysis resulting from a fractured spine. The evidence oi the railway officials was to tho effect that n shunting cngino bumped into a truck knocking deceased down as he wos about, to release the break. Deceased was pinned to the rail by a wheel < f the truck. The juijy returned v v«idict that deceased met his death by being accidentally thrown from a railway truck.
