EXHIBITION AWARDS.
WELLINGTON TECHNICAL SCHOOL. The director of the Wellington Technical School (Mr. W. S. La lYobe) reported to the board last night on the tucce&s of the students in the home iudustiies competitions at the recent Exhibition Students of the local technical school, he reported, .sent in some 160 exhibits, olid received fifty -nine awaids, including ten gold medals, and fifteen certificates, besides a "special mention" awarded to ' Miss Greta Even, for st'll-life painting, in addition to the gold nud'il in that f-ec-tion. Tho board carried a resolution expressing appreciation of the work of the students generally, and complinvnling the successful ones, besides appieciating the work of the staff.
