CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOUR SALLY.
Despite the pouring rain on Monday evening the CourUray-plaee CemgTegational Church was well filled, there being some 200 Endeavourers present. Rer. J. J. North, president of the union, controlled the meeting. Tho Berhampore Baptist Society conducted a song seTvies for fifteen minutes before tho general meeting started. The subject for consideration was, "What is Sucews?" papers and addresses of five minute*' each being given by the following societies : — Man's view (Kent-terrace Presbyterian), God'.s view (Vivian-street Baptist), in. home life (Webb-street Primitive Methodist), in business life (Goartenayphee Congregational), in church life (Taranaki-streefc Methodist). Several societies took part in the discussion, each being allowed three minutes, viz., Central Mission, Petoce. Baptist, St. James's Presbyterifcn, and Constable-street Cingregational. Short addrfgssa were gives by Revs. T. Keith E-wen and MaeDoaald Aspland, vice-presidents of the uaioa, *nd .Rev. W. Bhirer. Key. J. J. Vmtk briefly summed up the discussion. During the evening Miss Era Kirmiburgk aaag the solo "Out of Teuek."
