HOROWHENTJA MEETING. TBY TELKGBAPH. — PBESS ASSOCIATION.] PALMERSTON, 19th March. Ths attendance at the second day of the Horowhenna meeting was larger than on the first day. The sum of £2473 was passed through the machine, making £4305 for the meeting, as compared with £9928 last year. Following are the concluding results : — Racing Club Handicap, of 85 soys ; one mile— Tho Lark, 8.6, 1; Flotilla, 8.5, 2; Handsome Rose, 7.13, 3. The only starters. Won by two lengths. Time, lmin 46£ sec. Dividend, £1 15s. Ohau Hack, of 50 soys ; six furlongs. — Lothair, 7.6, 1; Moscow, 6.10, 2; Prevail, 7.10, 3. The only starters. Dividend, £3 14s. Weraroa Handicap, of 60 soys; six furlongs. — All four acceptors were scratched ; no race. Hetherlea Welter, of 55 soys ; seven inrlongs. — Saga, 8.10, 1 ; Monsieur Beaucaire, 8.6, 2. The only starters. Dividend, £1 9s. Hack Scurry, of 50 soys ; five furlangs. — Bel&rio, 8.11, 1; Chattel, 8.5, 2; Bonny Dooh, 8.11, 3. Serat«hed — Pixie. Dividends, £3 16s and lls.
