A BISHOP AND CLERGYMAN INJURED. IBT THLTOBiPD.— PVLSBS ASSOCIATION.) WAIROA, This Day. ' Yesterday afternoon the Bishop of Wai-apu-and the Rev. D. Ruddock, vicar of St. Paul's, Wairoa, were driving to Turiroa, and while passing through a cutting a cow frightened the horse. Tho occupants were thrown out of the gig. Mr. Ruddock was unconscious for a time, and when he recovered he found the bishop under the trap, the horse lying in the shafts. He dragged the bishop away and conveyed him to Wairoa. He passed a very painful night, and it was found this morning that ne had sustained an injury of the left hip joint. His face was all scratched and he 1 wad bruised about the eyes and temples. Mr. Ruddock injured his back. Both are progressing as wen as possible.
