MOERAKI, FROM SYDNEY. The steamer Moeraki arrived from Sydney *t 7.10 this morning, and wafl berthed at No. } north. Queen's Wharf, at 8.30. Tho vessel . left tho New South Wales port at 2.20 on Saturday afternoon, unit cleared the heads at 3.15 p.m. Light winds and moderate sea were experienced throughout the trip. The cargo foe Wellington includes 2660 «ocea fruit, 160 sacks potatoes, and transhipments ex M;owera, Orient, Dariu*,- Peregrine, Barcoo, Gera, Sydney, Gibing, Bunninyong, Mtr'oo, Rostock, «nd Bombala.

Captain T> EoVford, of the Opawa, who ha* been on a holiday visit to America and England, returned to Wellington this morning by the Moeruki. i "Mr. E. Paterson, chief engineer of the Warrimoo, will leave for London by the Kumara to-morrow in the interests of the- Union Comptiny, which is having several new steamers built. The engineroom staff of the Warrimoo made a presentation to Mr. Fateraon before he left hb ship. Tho Union Company adyice that the steamer Wairnna- left Newcastle for Wellington at 4 o'clock lost Saturday morning with a_ cargo of boal. Advice has been received that the Danish barque Ingeborg hns been chartered to load » oargo of roofing tiles at Marseilles for Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Wellington.
