ANNUAL MEETING OF PETONE BOWLING CLUB.

Tho Petone Bowling Club held its annual meeting last night, Mr. A. Coles presiding. There was a goodly attendance- of members. Tho annual report and balance-sheet (already noticed in the Post) was adopted, on the motion of Mr. Mothes. The election of officers resulted as follows : — President, Mr. A. Coles (reelected) ; vice-presidents, •Messrs D. Ross and R. 'Mothes; secretary, Mr. R- Wyli© fre-electedi ; treasurer, Mr. J. G. Castle (re-elected); general committee, Messrs. Cowie, M'Lean, Barlow, Macfarlane, Jones, and Marsden; trustees''reprDßentativo on general committee, Mr. Carter; match committee, Messrs. T. M'Arthur, Marsden, M'Lean; auditors, Messrs. Vogel and Smith ; delegates to Northern Bowling Association, 'Mr. R. Mothes. Trophies won during last season were presented as follows: — Beginners' match, J. H. Mavnard 1, R. Firth 2 ; juniors' F. Cooper ;_ handicap pairs, F. Cooper and A. Cowie; champion pairs, A. Marsden and T. M'Arthur; -champion singles, G. D. Mnofarlano; Wednesday singles, J. Barlow; progressive match, T. Mavnard 1, P. M 'Arthur 2. Four new members were elected. Votes of thanks to the ladies, the secretary, and the press concluded the meeting.
