NATIONAL DAIRY ASSOCIATION.
[BT TItBQBAPH.] (From Our Speoial Reporter.) PALMERSTON, This Day. The twelfth annual meeting of the National Dairy Association was neld to-day, Mr. Foreman in the chair. In moving the adoption of tho report and balancesheet, the president said there had been an improvement in the industry during the year, out not as great as it should havo been. There had also been some improvement in tho milk .supply, but certain farmers were still lax in their methods. He expressed regret that the efforts to secure an experimental station for the dairy, industry were still a failure; the Government was not yet alive to the position. The report was adopted. Messrs M. Fischer (Taratahi), A. M'Farlane (Pahiatun), and A. Morton (Mangorei) were elected directors, and Mr. C. D. Morpeth (Wellington) was re-elected auditor. Mr. R. H. Bligh will deliver an address to mothers and womon interested in reform work in the Baptist Church,. Brooklyn, this afternoon ; subject, " Power of Womanhood." An address to men will be given in the same place this evening; subject, "Tho Perils of Impurity." A good attendance is hoped for.
