"THE FATAL WEDDING."
Everywhere since the first production of "The Fatal Wedding" in the colonies the play has proved a great attraction. "Such a continuous run of prosperity for one play is without precedent in the history of Australia," says ono' critic. "The forty children from the alley, with the bright stirring march of 'The Tin Can Band,' make one of the many attractions of the play. The songs and dances of the little ones at 'Jessie's Birthday Party' are received nightly with tremendous enthusiasm, while the acting of the principals is ill keeping with such a meritorious performance." Mr. Charles Vane and Miss May Congdon head the list of performers, which includes Messrs. Herbert Leigh, Tom Cannam, C. R. Stanford, Oily Deering, Harry M'Lellan, etc., Misßes Diha Cooper, Amy Singleton, and the brilliant child artist Misa Maisie Posner. The plan will open at trie Dresden on Thursday next. The season, which cotntffenCes at the Opera House on Tuesday, 26th June, is to a few nights only.
