CHORAL SOCIETY CONCERT.

On Friday evening next Handel's dramatic oratorio, "Samson," is to be given in the Town Hall by the Wellington Choral Society, under the baton of Air. Maughan Barnett. The composition, which is of great length, but will be "cut" 60 as to be produced within two hours, abounds in fine choruses, including "Then Round About the Starry Throne," "Song and Dance," "Fixed in His Everlasting Throne," and "Let Their Celestial Concerts," which are to be sung on Friday. The orchestra will play the overture,' which includes the well-known and popular "Minuet in G," and -will also play the "Dead March in Saul," which is always substituted for the Dead March originally written for the oratorio. The soloists will be Misses Amy Murphy, and Mina Caldow, and Messrs. Leslie Hill and Arthur Ballance. Seats can be reserved at the Dresden.
