Captain Fletcher, commander of the Ortona, in an interview, said that unless two or three great English companies combine against the North German Lloyd's they would be run off the line after a tUme, until the Germans have practically the whole of the pas* senger trade of the world m their hands. He could say from his own knowledge that a big combine was coming off in England belore long ugainst the German Company.
