Mr. E. Basil-Jones, manager of the Frimley Canning Factory, is at present in Wellington. Mr, D. J. Nathan, at present in the Old Country, was this morning granted a further leave of absence — for three months — from the Wellington Harbour Board, owing to indisposition. Mr. W. H. Morrison, of Lawton City, Oklnhaina, U.S.A., has arrived in Wellington to take the pulpit charge of the Chun.lt of Christ, Dixon-strcet, beginning on Sunday next Owing to a severe attack of influenza the Rev. George Bond has beon confined to his bea since Monday last, and in consequenco will not bo able to attend to his> to-morrow. Mr. Bond hopes to be about again in the course of a few days.
