STANFORD -HOWARD DRAMATIC COMPANY. "The Crimes of the Police" -will receive ita final presentation at the hands of tho Stanford-Howard Dramatic Company at the Theatre Royal this evening. A nautical drama, "Saved from the Soa," ia set down for production tomorrow evening. The drama ia by% Mark Melford, and is said to contain many sensational incidents, including a realistic fire scene. New scenery nas been painted for the production. FULLER'S ENTERTAINERS. The clever acrobatic and contortion tvork of Little Cora is one of the most atta.6tiv3 items on a bill full of good '.terns now being presented at His Majesty's Theatre. The programme will be :epeated this evening, and to-morrow the customary change will be made. GARRISON BAND'S CONCERT. The <oncert should prove very successful. A successful concert organised by Mrs. fortune was held od Wednesday even.Jig in the Anglican Churcbioom, Bropkyn, under the auspices of the Ladies' Working Party, with the object of relueing the debt, on the churchroom. Ths Vlisses B. and H. Hargood, Mesdames ?ort&»ne and M'Kenzio, and Messrs. GodJrey Fortune and Wilkinson gave' items. Fha TefreshmeH-ts were supplied by the ladies and friends. The Rev. W. C. Maclaverty was the chairman, and moved a hearty vote of thanks to all wno assisted in making the- concert such % success. *\ The inmates of the Ohiro Home wero entertained by Mr. and/Mrs. Purvis last evening, the occasion being the twelfth birthday of their son. After 'all had done justice to the good things provided, Mr. Jones, on behalf of the inmates, wished Master Hugh Purvis many returns and long life and happiness, and called for three cheers. Mr. Potter called for iheers for Mr. and Mrs. Purvis, which were very heartily given. The members of St. Patrick's College Old Boys' Association were entertained by the Catholic Young Men's Club at their clubrooms last evening. There was iv large attendance of both bodies, and a happy and pleasant evening was spent. The toast of the "Guests of the evening" was proposed by Mr. A. H. Casey, and responds to by Mr. B. Devine. Mr. W. Butler proposed the health of the "Catholic Club, which, was responded to by Mr. H. M*Keowen. The tournament games resulted in wins for the Catholic Clvb :— Billiards,St. Patrick's 1250 points, Cntuolic Club 1558 points; euchre, St. Patrick's 20 games, Catholic Club. 52 games. During the evening songs and recitations filled in time pleasantly. Mr. i C. M'Donald played the accompaniments. ' The weekly korero of the Wellington Savage Club will be held in the club rooms to-morrow evening.
