Other quotations are: — 8 to 1 Canteen, 14 to 1 Tartan, Lord Cardigan, Wairiki, and St. Ambrose, 16 to 1 Sylvan King, Marmont, Acrasia, and Nuncio, 20 to 1 Lord Cardigan, who has been backed to win . £6000. Marmont has been supported to win £4000, and Nuncio £6000. Derby betting : 7to 4 against Sylvanite, 3 to 1 JJemas. Nightfall was scratched for the New Zealand Cup at 4.30 p.m. yesterday.
