BAPTIST UNION CONFERENCE.
[IJT TELEGRAPH — PRES3 ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, 20th October. The Baptist Union Conference delegates were welcomed this evening at the Han-over-street Church, where the Rev. Day presided. Addresses of welcome were given by the Rev. R. Mackie (President of the Council of Churches), the Rev. W. Laycock (on behalf of the city churches), and by Major Cumming (on behalf of the Salvation Army). Replies were made by the Rev. G. Carson (President) and the Rev. J. J. North (Secretary).
