[BY TELEGRAPH— PRESS ASSOOfATtON.] CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. A young woman named Hintz was committed for trial to-day on a charge of murdering a newly-born female child on 10th September. Evidence was given that the child was alive and well at 12 o'clock, but three-quarters of an hour afterwards it was found dead in bed with the mother. Medical evidence was to the effect that death was due to suffocation, and was not caused accidentally. Bail was allowed, accused on her own recognisance of £§00, £q\J two sureties of £100 each. r
