[BY TELEGRAPH — TRESS ASSOCIATION ] AUCKLAND, 30th September. The South British Insurance Company's report and balance-sheet for the year ended 31st August shows a surplus in the revenue account of £76,101. The following appropriations have been made: Re-insurance fund, £10,000 ; reserve fund, £10,000 ; investment fluctuation fund,' £5000. The directors recommend payment of a dividend for the second half-year at the rate *A 3s 6d per share, making the dividend for the year 6s. The net amount carried forward to next year's account is £58,728.
