BURGLARY IN AUCKLAND.
[BY TELBORArn— HW» A.9SOCtATIOS.j AUCKLAND, 22nd August. A visit *as paid by a burg.ar to tit* private residence of Mr. T. Dockroy, Mount Eden-ioad, on Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Dockray '.eft the houte to look at Borne flowers in a neighbours garden. On returning twelve minutes latev she found, the back-door forced open. Large quantities of Mr. Dockray s ciothes hud been niolcn, roiuo jfiwellery belonging to Mrs. Dockruy was missing, and about £15 in moi.cy, together with Mr. Doekray's gold watch, was al*o stolen. The whoio house had been ransuokod, and even dishes had been removed to sea if any money whs planted. The robber packed everything up into Mr. Doekray's Gladstone bag, and «Q took his departure, turning down View-road, where he was semi b f V a lady, who recognised the bag, but did not fni an instant suspect th«t anything was wrong. Mr. Dockray estimates his loss at £100 altogether.
