A meeting of the Potono Borough Council held laat evening was attended by tho Mayor (Mr. G. London) and Councillors Castle, Macfarlane, Bowles, Kidd, Hill, Piper, Wakeham, Nicholson, and Cook. It wav decided, on tho Mayor's motion, to refund to Brquklohumt Bro*. half the fine of £2 imposed upon them recently ior noi paying license focq. Ihe Engineer (Mr. W. H.
