CROWN LANDS FOR SETTLEMENT.
TO THE EDITOB. Sir— l know of at least six of my friends who are in Wellington at the present time trying to get information from the Government re Crown lands that are open for selection. What is the result? You are referred from one Department to another, and When you finish up the information you get is very meagre indeed. Now, we have any quantity '- of , would-be settlers who have capitdl TR fliat would ' kettle on the land if better facilities were given them than the present system of balloting, which causes a great deal of delay and expense. — I am, etc., A WOULD-BE SELECTOR.
