. TWENTY-THREE PERSONS DROWNED. [rBKSS ASSOCIATION.! CAPETOWN, 18th August. The barque Highfields, from Cardiff, came into collision with the German-Af-rican liner Kaiser, anchored in Table Bay. The barque sank, and the captain, second officer, and twenty-one of the crew were drowned. Only four escaped.
