SEARCH FOR LOST TREASURE.
— 1» THE WRECKED STEAMER CITY OF JANEIRO. [PBESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received November 27, 10.10 a.m.) NEW YORK, 26th November. A diver has located the steamer Rio de Janeiro, which was wrecked at the entrance to the Golden Gate, San Francisoo, in February last. The Government is endeavouring to recover the treasure aboard the vessel and the documents belonging to Mr. R. Wildman, the late American Consul- General at Hongkong, who was amongst those drowned.
