DRYDEN'S EMPIRE COMPANY.

Every seat in the Exchange Hall was occupied on Saturday night, and the entertainment was the best provided by the Empire Company since its inception. Miss Lillian, Tree made her first appearance, and waß well received. Misses Myra Thompson, Beryle Oilman, and Amy VaughW had to respond to spirited encores, and the dancing of Misses x>elmont and Vaughan Was greeted with wellmerited applause. Little Lillian Loftus was very successful, her singing of "While London Sleeps" bringing quite a shower of coins from the body of the house. Mr. Leon appeared for the first time, and at once gained favour with the audience, being recalled several times. Mr. Charles Hugo kept everybody well amused. Mr. Harry Baxter's descriptive singing was loudly applauded, and Mr. Leslie Forrest was accorded a flattering reception. The song and dance items of Mr. Mooney were very acceptable, and Mr. T. Dryden and the rest of the company did their best to amuse the audience. Miss Amy Ritohie and Mr. F. Bumard, who were unable to appear on Saturday, are announced for to-night.
