iSir— l beg to suggest that those soldiers who have already reached our shores from Soubh Africa ehould be summoned to Wellington to join In the proceedings the* will mark the return of the main body now on their way in the Harlech Castle. The welcome accorded to the invalided troopers was piecemeal on account of their returning in small batches, but there must be quite a large number of them now in the colony and the welcome should extend to them. — I am, etc.., ADMIEER.
