THE ALLIES AT PAOTING-FU. OFFICIALS SENTENCED U TO DEATH [phess association.] (Received November 3, 9.14 a.m.) LONDON, 2nd November. An International Commission, under the French General Billoud, has sentenced the Provincial Treasurer and the Tartar General at Paoting-fu, and also a Chinese Colonel to death, on the ground that they were accessories to the murder of English and American missionaries. Eight Boxers have been shot at Pao-ting-fu by, tho Allies. One confessed' to having helped in the torture of a lady missionary.
