A list ot a portion of the prisoners of Geneial L'ronje's army has jusl been is sued a I Capetown A perusal of it proves the close relationship existing among nearly all the Boer-*. For instance, thine are no fewer than 2? ol the Coetzee family mostly hailing from Potchefstiooni, the De Beers numbering 16, the Bothas 22, the KrUgcrs 20, the Cronjes only five, the Pretoriuses .22, the Van Wyks 16. Veiy few English names occur in the list, but the following are noticeable: — Ayres, Clarke, Dunn, Porter, Berry, Green, Holmes, Hunter, four O'Kellys, Page, and Wheeler. The local office of the Union Steam Ship Company is advised that the Monowai, which took a portion of the New Zealand Rough Riders (Fourth Contingent) to Beira, arrived at Hobart at 8 labl night. She is under orders to proceed to Newcastle to load for New Zealand.
