THE TRANSPORT DIFFICULTY.
WHAT SYDNEY IS PREPARED TO OFFER. SYDNEY, 2nd January. In connection with tho statements cabled to tho colonies regarding tho lack of transport facilities at the front; a deputation from the Sydney Chamber of Commerce asked the Government to-day to inform the Imperial authorities that waggons could be turned out here' at the rate of fifty per week after tho first week. The deputation was asked to supply a quolation of the price at which the work could be done.
