Cautley Handicap, six furlongs.—Cuirasette, 1; St. Peter, 2; Red Lancer, 3. Time, lmin I7asec. Dividends, £4 14s and £4 7s. Handicap Steeplechase, about three miles. — Nor'west, 1; Opoua, 2; Crusade, 3. Time, Gmin 42 2-sth see. Dividends, £2 17s and £2 15s. Welter Handicap, one mile. — Cavalier, 1 ; St. Ona, 2 ; Doctor, 3. Time, lmin 45 3-5 sec. Dividends, £3 13s and £3 13s. The stewards held au euquiry into the running of Pokomoko in the Handicap Hurdle?, but have not yet given a decision pending details ot certain bets said to have been made in Wellington and Hawera about the horse's chance of winning.
